Chains Breaking

Sometime ago, 

I lost my way in my life. 

I traded my wings for that I thought was going to be a happily ever after. 

But instead, 

it was a heavy chain of darkness put on me to keep me from leaving. 

I felt like I was slowly being buried alive. 

I was fading away from the light.

When you came into my life, 

I saw a glimmer of hope. 

I felt like I could be myself with you. 

But when our lips met, 

I finally felt those chains broke and could breathe in life again. 

You made me feel like I could fly again.

I can't imagine life without you anymore. 

I wake up in the morning hoping to see your face. 

When I hear those three little words from your mouth, 

my heart skips a beat.
