YOUTUBE, TWITTER, AND COURT DRAMA!!!
When people go to court whether its over child custody or harassment, I believe it needs to stay in the court systems and out of social media especially when it's an on going thing.
I get that we live an age that we can so easily overshare everything in our lives like pictures of kids, medical things, and even winning a day in court. But because of that, a lot of people have too easy access to what is going on in a case or will just assume what is going on without doing full research and believe what is told without proof most times.
One example of this, there is a youtuber that we will call "NoNo" (just go to youtube and search for NoNo.... lots of videos on who she is) Right now, She is going through a child custody case over her child and is vlog not only what is going on with her but also her ex and his current wife. You would think that in this situation that it wouldn't be a good idea to vlog what is going on and what you are getting from the courts before it over because at anytime the courts can look at her social media and see that not only she is exposing her case to millions even billions but how she is being towards the ex in this situation. Courts will want to see that the parents are there for the child (or children) and will put their differences to the side but in "NoNo" case, she is showing that she doesn't want to even try to get along with the ex. Also, smoking a "blunt" on camera even if it's legal where she was filming at, the courts will not be happy.
This is the perfect situation that instead of sharing just to show what is going on, just being quiet. But instead She is using this a chance to get money to make herself look better which let's be honest, anyone would give money to a mother wanting to be with her child. Even let's say the courts magically over looks what she is doing on social media, her child will see whether it's on her stuff or others... the child will have possible mix feelings about his mother's motives and the time it took to have him back in her life.
Another example of on going court stuff on social media, Steven Mango and Gerald Cosmetics. Steven Mango is a drama channel on youtube that got into trouble by exposing an on-going court hearing between the CEO of Gerald Cosmetics and a "Stalker". Steven Mango not only didn't get both sides of the story and only putting out the side of the stalker but didn't get permission to publish something that can not only hurt a cosmetic company but will hurt his image. He made the video of the stalkers side on the 17th of this month and got a C&D the next day from the CEO Of Gerald cosmetics. He waited not only to put out a new video with her side on it but it was not a real apology video since he was ordered to do so and stating that he has a hard time believing her side of things. The issue with this is that the court stuff with the CEO and the stalker is an on going issue that has not been settled and should have not been exposed to the public.
Again, I will say that any on going court hearings or cases should not be on social media because of how people will think without researching on what is going on. I am not saying you shouldn't have an opinion but to do the research to see what is going on before speaking because if you shoot off before you know what's going on, it will make you look like a fool and have to issue an apology to those you have upset. After it's all done, there is nothing wrong with what the case was about and the outcome was so other can learn what to do to avoid the mistakes made.
